Monday is Earth Day and I think it's a great time to assess the food we eat & learn a little more about where it comes from! One Degree Organics is dedicated to making products that are all certified Glyphosate Residue Free and sourced from organic farmers that use plant-based farming & sustainable methods. I personally LOVE their products because they're sprouted (a process that aids in nutrient absorption), making the food easier to digest! I made a super simple energy ball recipe using the oats and they're packed with all the best nutrients :)

Almond Butter Oat Energy Balls

Ingredients:

1 cup One Degree Organics Rolled Oats

1/2 cup almond butter

2 tbsp flax seed

2 tbsp almond milk

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp pure maple syrup

1 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Pour all of the ingredients into a food processor and process until everything is well combined.

  2. Take the dough out of the food processor and roll it into balls (makes about 13--depending on how big you make them.)

  3. Store the energy balls in a container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks!

These One Degree Organics sprouted oats make for such a good snack or meal and can be found at multiple grocery stores. You can head to the website below to see where you can buy them & to also browse the wide variety of products that they have to offer!
