Gluten-Free Chocolate Heart Cakes

This recipe makes 2 chocolate heart cakes!

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup cacao powder

  • 1 & 1/3 cup almond flour

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (I used Bob’s Red Mill gluten free 1:1 baking flour)

  • 1 tsp. baking powder

  • 1 cup coconut sugar

  • 1 cup milk

  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract

  • 4 eggs

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350F and grease two heart shaped pans.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, vanilla extract, and milk—then whisk in the dry ingredients.

  3. Evenly pour the batter into the two pans, you can use a food scale to weigh out each batter for a more precise pour.

  4. Bake the cakes for 20 minutes and let cool before removing. Enjoy!
