Vanilla Almond Bars
Ingredients:
2 cups almond flour
2 scoops vanilla protein
2/3 cup agave/maple syrup
Filling:
1/2 cup (or more) almond butter
Topping:
2 dark chocolate bars
1-2 tbsp. coconut oil {optional: just helps the chocolate melt faster}
Pinch of salt
Directions:
Line an 8x8 dish with parchment paper.
In a big bowl, stir together the crust ingredients.
Press the crust dough into the 8x8 pan and top with almond butter.
Melt chocolate {optional: with coconut oil mixed in) and pour over almond butter layer (optional: add a little salt on top}
Freeze for at least an hour, remove the parchment paper from the dish, and cut slices!
