Caramel Apple Cake Bites

Ingredients:

• 1 @simplemills vanilla cake mix {+ the ingredients on the back of the cake box}

• 2/3 cup diced apples {about 1 large apple}

• 10 medjool pitted dates {i bought mine from @traderjoes}

• 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp. milk {i used @milkadamia milk}

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350F.

2. Follow the directions for the cake mix, stir in the apple chunks, pour the batter into a donut hole pan {20 donut holes; i poured the remaining batter into a large microwaveable mug and microwaved for 2 minutes} and bake for 10 minutes.

   **DATE CARAMEL SAUCE: blend the dates and milk in a food processor until creamy; store the extra in the fridge for up to a week!
